Statement of Faith – Kleinmond Pentecostal Church

At Kleinmond Pentecostal Church, we are a Bible-believing, Spirit-led community committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and living out His truth in our daily lives. Our faith is grounded in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit, leading us into a transforming relationship with God.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living, revealing God’s truth and His plan for humanity.

The One True God

We believe in one eternal God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, holy, sovereign, and worthy of all worship, honour, and obedience.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of the world and the only way to reconciliation with God.

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is a gift of God, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven, made new, and restored into a right relationship with God.

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts, regenerates, sanctifies, empowers, and guides believers. We affirm the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the operation of spiritual gifts as described in the New Testament, for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

The Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, grow in faith, and share the Gospel with the world. The Church exists to reflect Christ’s love, serve the community, and make disciples of all nations.

Christian Living

We believe that true faith results in a transformed life. As followers of Christ, we are called to live in holiness, love, humility, and obedience to God’s Word, demonstrating the character of Christ in all we do.

The Ordinances

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, and in the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of His sacrifice and a celebration of our redemption.

Divine Healing

We believe that God heals today through the power of Jesus Christ, and that healing is part of His loving provision for His people.

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ. He will establish His kingdom, judge the world in righteousness, and bring eternal life to those who believe in Him.

Eternal Hope

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and eternal life. Those who trust in Christ will enjoy everlasting life in the presence of God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation.

Our Commitment

As a church, we are committed to proclaiming the Gospel, nurturing believers in biblical truth, and walking daily in the power of the Holy Spirit. We seek to honour God in all we do and to be a light in our community, reflecting the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
